Hi there, I’m Ali.

A designer and developer based in London, focused on websites for clinical research.

Fifteen years ago I started building websites. Somewhere along the way I stopped trying to serve every industry and chose one. Clinical research websites are unusual: a single website has to speak to a patient at a vulnerable moment and to a sponsor running a feasibility check — two readers, opposite needs, one page. That problem is worth specializing in, so I did.

Why this niche (kept calm, no hype): Generalist agencies don’t know what a sponsor is, what IRB approval means, or why a Phase I page reads nothing like a Phase III one. I’ve built enough clinical trial websites to speak the language without translating — and to design for both audiences without one drowning out the other.

Credentials

  • Google-certified in User Experience
  • Codeable Expert — a vetted network of senior WordPress developers
  • Fifteen years across design, UX, and front-end build

What I do:

  • Clinical trial website design — patient-facing clarity, sponsor-facing credibility
  • Conversion-focused UX (enrollment pathways, feasibility signals)
  • Accessible, plain-language content structure
  • Front-end build on a clean, fast WordPress foundation

How I work: Plan → research → wireframe → UI → build → QA → launch. Calm, on schedule, no surprises. I push back when something won’t serve the reader — clients tend to thank me for it later.

Soft CTA: If that sounds like the kind of website your site needs, say hello. info@trialsfocus.com
